Get cozy on the private deck with an outdoor lounge set and hot tub where you can witness the breathtaking sunsets, and more ample spaces surrounded by nature!

➤ Salt and pepper only, no oil, but there is a spice rack. Please note that oil is not intentionally added but part of the "Cooking essentials"amenity on Airbnb which we cannot remove separately from the option.
➤ IMPORTANT NOTE FOR 1 WEEK STAY OR LONGER:
Toilet paper, garbage bags and basic toiletries will be provided for the guests at the beginning of the stay. It will then be the guest's responsibility to provide for these for the remainder of their stay.

➤RECREATION:
Watersports – Much of Canal Lake is not well-suited for watersports such as waterskiing and wakeboarding, although there are spots along the western arm of the lake where this is possible. The narrow sections of the Trent-Severn Waterway on either side of the lake are governed by a 10 km per hour speed limit.
Fishing – Fishing for Bass is excellent on Canal Lake, and some exceptionally large Muskie have also been caught on the lake.
Birdwatching – The almost 20 sq. km. Carden Alvar Provincial Park is located just north of Canal Lake and is a birdwatcher’s paradise. Public access is available via two hiking trails along the bordering fence lines. There is parking and washroom facilities at the trail head.
➤SERVICES:
There is a grocery store in nearby Bolsover, and a full range of services in Beaverton (10 – 15 minutes).
This location is a Car-Dependent neighborhood so almost all errands require a car.
➤The property does have both heating and A/C but we don't guarantee that you can reach a comfortable setting if you're preferred temperature is outside of the range of about 17 - 25 degrees Celsius. Additionally, given the nature of short term rentals, with people being in and out constantly, we can't guarantee 100% uptime as unfortunately some guests will occasionally push the systems beyond their capacity requiringrepairs.
➤ Unfortunately, we can’t offer a bag drop-off. For those arriving early or having a late flight, you can use the Bagbnb site to find options to drop off your bag for a fee.
➤ Hot Tub: If you have sensitive skin and smell, please use at your own discretion, as CHEMICALS are used to treat water as needed and according to standard maintenance.
➤ SNOW REMOVAL for driveways and parking areas:
Snow removal will be done if there is a snowfall of over 4 inches. Please NOTE during heavy snowfalls and winter weather storm advisories, the properties will be maintained the best we can. Your patience will be appreciated, as during these times, snow crews can be very busy helping to keep all of the roads in the area cleared.
➤ SNOW and ICE: Due to the nature of cottage country's natural terrain, we will do our best to keep the walkways to the cottage entrance clear. NOTE there can be snow and ice on the ground, as well as build up and cannot be removed until weather permits us to do so. Walkways and steps can be SLIPPERY, please bring the appropriate footwear and be prepared for this type of weather.

2. Smoking of any kind is strictly prohibited inside the house/cottages, including the patio. Please smoke just out at the yard. :)
3. Please be cautious of noise, especially after 10pm. Noise complaints are not tolerated and may result in full deposit charges. You may be asked to leave with no refund.
4. No additional guests are allowed in the home past the indicated number on your booking confirmation. This rule is to prevent large gatherings & parties and be fair to guests who do pay the extra fees. Third party bookings are not allowed.
5. The property must be maintained in good condition with no excessive mess. Extra cleaning costs may apply if necessary so we can effectively prepare for next guests.
6. Please note check-out time is by 11am and keys must be placed as instructed. We can often accommodate late check-outs if we know in advance, but last minute changes may result in $25 charge per each additional half hour stayed.
7. All bookings require the ID of the individual booking and the disclosure of the full names of all guests.
