Bluestar Lakefront Cottage Rental is located on a quiet dead end street a 10 minute drive from Gananoque and Seeley's Bay. The area is surrounded by trees and the night skies are so clear that you can see 1000s of stars everywhere you look. Located right on the shore of Gananoque lake, this private and cozy getaway spot is perfect for relaxing and enjoying nature. Don't be surprised if you see some cardinals and some chipmunks around. The lake is only accessible to people who live in the area with no public access. Gananoque is considered "The Gateway to the 1000 Islands" with a beautiful downtown area filled with restaurants and boutique shops and a waterfront that offers views of the 1000 Islands with boat cruises available if you want to go exploring. Kingston is also about 35 minutes away if you want to explore everything Kingston has to offer. A boat launch is available for a fee of $50. Please contact host for further details.
You have access to everything you see in the photos. The cottage portion of the property is exclusively yours. We live next door and the yards are separated by a privacy fence. The portion of the property where the cottage is located will 100% be dedicated to you, your guests and your dogs if you have them. We have 3 small rescue dogs (2 senior 1 blind) we take our dogs out for their potty breaks about 3 times a day we take them out on their leash so they will not go to the cottage property to disrupt you or your dogs. The only thing that is shared is a small portion of the walkway leading up to where the property splits and a small portion of the entrance to the driveway between the main house and cottage property. This will not inhibit you and your guests or your vehicle in any way.
