This luxurious cottage is situated on the pristine waters of Drag Lake. A underground spring water fed lake with no marinas and no pollution. Drag Lake is world renowned for its natural unspoiled beauty and clear clean waters. With it's limestone base it naturally purifies itself along with the many springs that keep this lake pristine. With the many beaches, rolling hills in the foreground, rock cliffs, it truly is one of the most picturesque places in Ontario. The swimming is excellent and the water will rejuvenate you. Be ready for a true serene environment and watch and listen for Ontario's loons. The lake has an abundance of Lake Trout, small and large mouth bass which you'll often see by the dock. It's situated about 15 minutes from the Village of Haliburton which has everything you could possible want for your vacation. Two grocery stores, hardware store, LCBO, beer store, restaurants, sporting good stores, drug stores and hospital. Our cottage has its own private beach some 100' wide with a sand bottom and is very safe for kids with a long gradual slope. There is a 50' long dock and the cottage is literary 15' from the water. So only panoramic views of the lake and surrounding highlands, it is breathtaking. We have our own underground spring well water system which feeds the cottage. The water is safe and tastes great and better than any bottled water. There is a floor to ceiling stone fireplace. Central air conditioning and heat. Internet TV and high end surround sound audio system in the living room. There are three bedrooms downstairs along with a 3 piece bathroom and a indoor patio room. The bathroom downstairs has a Steam shower. There is a huge deck overlooking the lake equipped with a gas barbecue, dining table for six, Propane outdoor overhead heater for cool nights all on one end of the deck. On the opposite end is a coffee table along with love seat and 4 single wicker outdoor lounge chairs with foot rests, a cast iron outdoor fireplace and outdoor hot tub for two, to complete your outdoor living needs. There is also hi speed internet available through out the cottage. The living room is furnished with a Italian leather sofa and leather lounge chair which can be adjusted flat and seat an additional 3 people along with a wine cooler and fooseball coffee table. Equipped with washer and dryer iron and ironing board. The kitchen is equipped with a dishwasher, microwave, Bertazzoni stove, Sub Zero Fridge and double sinks. We have every small appliance you'll need. There is even an air fryer. On the second floor is the master bedroom, which has a sitting area at the end of the bedroom overlooking the lake and ensuite four piece bathroom. There is a 4 pillar canopy bed along your own LED TV and sound system. The ensuite bathroom has a double sink with steam shower & spa and a private two person jacuzzi overlooking the lake. The cottage also comes with two paddle boat and 4 kayaks. This place has all the luxuries you could ask for, in such a tranquil and healthy environment. Paddling along the coastline of this lake is wonderful.
