The 2nd Lakehouse design & renovation after Red Fox Lakehouse (also on Airbnb). Red Pine Lakehouseboasts a great floor plan with 3 levels to spread out. The mudroom entryway welcomes Guests with heated floors and space for winter or summer gear. This leads to 3 of the 4 bedrooms including a bedroom with 2 twin beds, a bedroom with a queen bed and a primary bedroom with a king bed and walkout to a private balcony, perfect for quiet time. This level also has a spacious bathroom withheated floors, a tub/shower combo and full sized washer and dryer.
Head down 5 steps to the main level renovated for ultimate entertaining! It offers an oversized, beautiful chef's kitchen with island seating,cocktail/coffee bar area with another sink, dining area with table for 8 and a spacious living room with a woodstove for those chilly days, large SMART TV (with Satellite TV & DVD player), and floor to ceiling windows to capture the big lake views all day long. Walk out to the 40' x 12' deck with outdoor dining for 8, Napoleon grill with propane line (so that Guests never run out of fuel), and a comfy, sectional and several chairs for lounging day or night.
The lower level offers a large family room witha comfy sectional, another SMART TV withDVD player and beautiful electric fireplace surround, a foosball table, and a table ready for games, puzzles and more. The lower level is bright with a number of large windows, all above grade, showing off the beautiful greenery and rock wall during the summer months. The 4th bedroom offers another king sized bed and there is an additional, beautiful bathroom with large shower and heated floors for those chilly days.
The Lakehouse has a central air-conditioning unit to keep Guests cool through those hot summer days. It has central propane heating and a full-power Generac Generator to ensure Guests never lose hydro from storms any time of year.
All rooms have been decorated with new furniture, decor, linens and mattresses for your comfort! The Lakehouse is fully appointed with all of the appliances and amenities you might want. Loads of board games, puzzles, books, outside games, DVDs, Internet, cottage phone, 2 DVD players and 2 Smart TVs are also included.
Included in your stay are ALL bed linens, towels, beach towels, and some basic supplies to get guests started (i.e spices, sugar, olive oil, a few rolls of toilet paper, a roll of paper towels, etc.). Bring clothes and food and enjoy! If something is forgotten, the nearby marina also has some basic food/snacks/ice cream and an LCBO outlet, and Eagle Lake Country Market (year-round) has all the groceries one might need just ten minutes away.
The Lakehouse itself is nestled on the waterfront with 270' of frontage on a fairly flat grass lot perfect for games and relaxing with the privacy of trees on either side. You can walk into the water as it has a very gradual decline or jump off the dock. There is a sandy beach area perfect for little ones. There is also a swim raft for jumping off! Water levels lower all summer as the lake feeds the Trent Severn Gull River Watershed System so it's important to check depth before jumping and diving. There are several different deck and dock seating areas outside for Guests to enjoy. The fire pit was created to enjoy the big lake views all year round and wood is included with compliments. There are 2 stand-up paddle boards, peddle boat, canoe and two kayaks and some water toys on the property. If Guests would like to tour the lake, they can rent a motor boat or a pontoon boat from the Marina which is less than five minutes away on the lake.

Haliburton Lake does freeze over where people skate and ice-fish throughout the winter. The road and driveway are plowed for our Guests' convenience.
Guests have access to the whole lakehouse and property.
Guests will have the entire Lakehouse, property and lake to enjoy. The property is flat and perfect for all ages! It is very treed on either side, making it quite private.

While the Lakehouses offers a lot of privacy, we do have lake neighbours enjoying their own cottages, who need to be respected in terms of noise levels.
Close to the town of Haliburton with lots of fun shops, amenities and restaurants. Close to hiking trails throughout the area. Skiing is only ten minutes away. Biking, hiking, cross country skiing and snow shoeing throughout the area.
