Haliburton Lake Cozy Cottage | Cottage in Dysart Et Al

The cottage is situated in the south-west corner of Haliburton Lake which is one of the larger lakes in Haliburton Highlands. The cottage has northeast exposure with ample amounts of seating both on the dock and front area of the cottage. You can swim off the dock – water levels fluctuate throughout the season – and it has a sandy bottom.
The cottage sleeps a maximum of seven. There is one bathroom with a shower and three bedrooms – two rooms with queen beds and one room with a bunk set (double and twin).
The cottage is within walking distance of the Fort Irwin Marina for all your boating needs (it also is equipped with an LCBO outlet). It is also within walking distance of a local restaurant – Till death BBQ.
As you exit the cottage there is a large stone patio across the front and side of the cottage for relaxation after a hard day on the water in your canoe, kayak or paddle board. The cottage comes with:
- Canoe
- Kayaks x 3 (one of the kayaks is for children under 100 lbs)
- Paddle board
- Pedal boat
- Water trampoline
- Lily Pad
There is also a propane barbecue for the Family Chef, an outdoor patio set and firepit. Smoking outside only and no pets permitted.
The comfortable living room comes complete with a sofa and two chairs. It also has a superb view considering how close the cottage is to the water.
Just off the kitchen there is a dining area to seat 6 in comfort.
There are fans in each room (no AC available) and heaters if required.
While there is unlimited Wi-Fi available, it can be quite spotty during the busier months of the summer. We do have a landline at the cottage that can be used by renters as cell phone coverage in the area is limited. Wi-Fi calling is also available (check your provider to see if you are eligible for Wi-Fi calling).
There are three bedrooms in the cottage including:
- Primary bedroom with a queen bed
- Bunk bed with a double bottom and a twin top
- Secondary bedroom with a queen bed
In addition, there is a three-piece bathroom with a stand-up shower.
Renters will be required to bring:
- Bed sheets, pillowcases and pillows (blankets are available in each room)
- Drinking/cooking water
- Lifejackets
