Summary: The cottage met all our expectations, and we had a great time. The host provided a lot of activities (we really appreciated the canoe to explore the lake, which has many beautiful cliffs and dramatic cliffs). We would have appreciated more of a heads up that we needed to bring our own towels and bedding (we did just in case, as we had to leave two days before check-in), and also a heads up that there was no drinking water there and there was no drinking water left (luckily we arrived early enough to go into town to refill the water jugs). It should also be noted that the bedrooms don't have walls that go all the way to the ceiling, which is great for keeping the rooms cool at night, but not great for privacy if that's a concern). The location is also great, very quiet and with great views. Not particularly hard to get in and out of, and only about 10 minutes from the town so buying necessities wasn't difficult. We'd definitely stay here again in future.
