The space
A-frame features original stone wood burning fireplace and a spectacular view of the lake through custom windows with sliding doors leading out to the deck. There is a propane BBQ available for outdoor grilling.
Enjoy our private outdoor firepit just steps away from the cottage, where you can look out over the lake while surrounded by trees. Share stories, toast marshmallows and cozy up for the night.
With three bedrooms to choose from you are bound to find the right one for you. A favorite among guests would be the queen bed in the loft.
There are many activities to enjoy in the area. The most popular being Hardy Lake Provincial Park which features a boardwalk that crosses the lake onto a tiny island... the perfect spot for an insta photo.
Other things to note
Bring your sense of adventure. This three season A-frame was built in the 50s, so know that it fluctuates temperature with the outdoors. You have the chance to see many creatures. Here's a snippet of what we've seen so far: beavers, loons, blue herons, wild turkey, deer, moose. That being said nature can find it's way indoors at times with opening of doors, bringing in of firewood and such. You may see the odd bug inside, this in unavoidable.
