Welcome to Cooks Chalet.
This beautiful waterfront chalet rests on a quiet bay and secluded private lot, on Upper Rideau Lake. Take in beautiful sunrises from the large deck overlooking the bay. 50 steps gets you into pristine water off your own private dock, there you will find chairs, a canoe, two kayaks and a rowboat for your pleasure. Lots of quiet areas to walk or hike nearby. Enjoy the awesome view of the lake while relaxing with your favorite beverage.
The chalet has three bedrooms, a loft with two double beds . There is a fully equipped kitchen(minus a dishwasher), BBQ and the cottage is wifi enabled. The spacious living room has a flat screen smart T.V. and board games are available. The basement is outfitted with a ping pong table and there are plenty of available inflatable water toys to enjoy.
The chalet is fully winterized and snowshoes and cross country skis are available for winter exploring.
The chalet is a 10 minute drive from the Historic town of Westport where you will find great shopping, walking trails, grocery stores, restaurants, wineries and brew pubs. The chalet is also a 20 minute drive from the Historic town of Perth, which boasts great museums, historic tours, banking, hospitals, parks and breweries.
