This home is located 20 minutes from downtown Carbondale, 25 minutes from Glenwood Springs, 30 minutes from Basalt, and 45 minutes from Aspen. It is tucked back in the hills behind Carbondale and boasts views of the stunning mountain ranges surrounding Carbondale as well as the valleys of Cottonwood Pass. This space is rural, but exquisitely cared for, and here to encourage you to really escape reality. While there is no cell service, the wifi is plentiful! There is a separate, but connected, basement caretakers unit on this home that is occupied by a long-term caretaker. The spaces are completely locked off from one another but we do like to note this so guests are aware!
Walk through the front door and you'll be on the main floor of your two-story mountain getaway. The spacious living room/dining room will greet you with floor-to-ceiling windows looking out to Mount Sopris and the natural beauty beyond. This open-concept main area includes a gas fireplace, large smart TV, and dining table for 6. The full-kitchen includes a custom live-edge wood eat-at counter for two and a breakfast nook with stunning views to the valley below. The two guest rooms are located on the main floor of the home and both include comfortable queen-sized beds and closets. These two bedrooms share a bathroom with toilet and shower directly next to them. The master bedroom is a loft-style master located up the stairs and on the second floor on the home. Spacious and equip with gorgeous views, this master bedroom enjoys the same floor-to-ceiling views as the living room. Enjoy an office nook with desk overlooking the valley below, a king-sized bed, two walk-in closets, and a spacious bathroom with separate shower and soaker tub. The large tub overlooks the valley as well and is the perfect place to soak the evening away.

- There is one long term renter that lives in a completely separate apartment in the basement of this home. Nothing is shared between the two units.
