** Due to strict HOA guidelines, occupancy is limited to 4 guests per stay. Also, please be advised there is not a boat slip provided for this rental and no boats are allowed to dock or anchor during stay.
Smith Mountain Lake is a boater's and fisherman's paradise. There are 500 miles of shoreline on this 40 mile long, 20,000 acre lake. Boat rentals and wave runners are available at several lake locations. From our location it is about 500 feet to the main channel of the lake. The lake is stocked with large mouth and small mouth bass, stripers, crappie, catfish, and sunfish.
Golf is available nearby at Waterfront Country Club. A number of wineries and restaurants are within a 15 minute drive.
We furnish linens, towels, blankets, bedspreads, pillows and toilet paper. These items are included in your rental rate.
The townhome is in good condition with hardwood floors, full size appliances, and cable smart TVs in every room. There is central air and heat with ceiling fans throughout, free WIFI internet access, DVD and assortment of movies. The furnishings are comfortable with a L shaped couch overlooking the view of the lake from the main floor. The kitchen is fully furnished with full sized appliances. There is an outdoor charcoal grill on the patio with outdoor chairs. **There are no Trash Dumpsters located anywhere on the property or in this lake community. It is the responsibility of all renters to transport their accumulated trash off-site like all residents in the lake side community to the following dump-site during their stay:

*** This site is located on the left side of the highway (directly off Scruggs Road) as you head back toward town from the townhome. RULES & REGULATIONS to follow while in the commons area:
1. Docks.
a. Personal property shall not be stored on the floating docks or bridges. Personal
effects, e.g chairs, towels, water toys etc shall be removed from docks when not in use. Small boats, e.g inflatables, canoes, kayaks or small fishing boats, shall not be stored on the docks.
b. No open flame nor any source of heat that might ignite a fire shall be used on any dock. “Dock” includes party decks.
c. The large floating docks on either side of the slips are for swimming, sunbathing and short term docking while loading and unloading passengers or equipment into your boat. They are NOT courtesy docks for visitors. Overnight docking and leaving boats unattended tied to the floaters is strictly prohibited. Docking boats at these floaters adds considerable stress to the docks and may interfere with the enjoyment of others who may wish to use the floaters for their intended purpose. Boats left unattended at the floaters are subject to removal at the owner’s expense.
i. The floaters on the ends of the docks are assigned to the occupants of the units in that building. Units numbered 1, 2, and 3 use the left floater; units 4, 5, and 6 use the right floater
ii. No jumping or diving from the party decks on the B, C and I docks. d. No vessel greater than 23 feet in length or weighing more than 4,000
pounds shall be permitted in any slip. Any property owner who on November 1, 2015, owned a vessel which is disqualified by this rule, shall be granted an exemption for that particular vessel for as long as s/he owns that specific vessel. This 'grandfather' exemption is intended to provide relief to owners who were then docking over-sized vessels in their assigned slips and shall not transfer or convey to any other owner or vessel.
e. No vessel shall be docked in any assigned boat slip without being raised out of the water resting on the lift’s cradle.
