Nestled in the Chippewa national forest on a small lake bay this Lakeside cabin offers cozy tranquility. Relax and sun on the floating raft, try your luck fishing with the row boat or paddle the Canoe along the shores. Take in the scenery walking or biking the quiet dirt roads and enjoy an evening bon fire.
This cozy cabin was built in 1965. It was completely off grid with gas lighting fixtures until electricity was added in 1980. The cabin is rustic and remote, it has a working indoor well and pump and 5 gallon drinking water bottles will be provided. There is no running water and there is an outhouse for toileting. There is electricity and a full kitchen, an outdoor charcoal grill and picnic table. There is free wifi onsite.
Rental includes use of Canoe, floating raft, small kayak up to 140 lbs, and row boat. Bring your own poles and bait. Bring your own bikes. There is a boat launch area on the west side of the lake, 1.5 miles from the cabin.
Please no RV campers or 4 wheelers.
The road down to the lake is steep and rugged. If your car rides low park on top.
There is an outdoor security camera covering driveway area. Camera is in plain sight on out building.
