Family fun every day at this newly remodeled lake home! You will love this hard to find private lake home nestled in the woods with a breathtaking view of Round Lake. Pan fishing off the dock with the kids is a great memory maker! The level elevation to the crystal clear, sand bottom lake provides a large yard for games and stone fire pit for smore making bonfires, The wrap around deck flows from the 4 season porch and provides plenty of space for outside dining and lounging. Inside you will love the gourmet kitchen, two gas fireplaces, large master bedroom (queen bed) with private half bath and a second sleeping room off of this room with a bunk bed (full on bottom and single up top) There is a second bedroom with a queen bed and a full bath all on the main level. Both living rooms have comfy couches for additional guests. This open concept home features a second family/living room and dining area open to the center island kitchen.
You are walking distance from the local favorite lakeside hangout Zorbas, Beach Bums bar and restaurant and the Corner Store! At Zorbas you will enjoy the fantastic pizza, pasta and mexican menu! Beach Bum bar and restaurant has a eclectic menu offering broasted chicken, burgers, sandwiches and sushi:). They also have regular live music on the lakeside patio afternoons and evening and yard games for kids of all ages. The Corner Store boasts freshly baked daily breads, buns and mouth watering caramel and cinnamon rolls. They have a great beach area, rent pontoons, paddle boards and kayaks as well. You are also only 6 miles from the quaint town of Battle Lake which boast many dining options including steak houses, pubs and local cafes. Night life is also available featuring live music and karaoke if that is your pleasure. You will also find many unique shops, homemade ice cream and candy shop, art gallery and antique shops.
There is a large yard suitable for a camper for an additional fee. This is a private lake so there is no public access. You can put your boat in on Otter Tail Lake or many other great fishing lakes within a few mile radius.
So if you want to come and chill in a beautiful home beside a private lake or go out and kick it up a little you will not be disappointed at the Round Lake Retreat!
Covid 19 Update:
Check in and check out times will be modified to allow additional time for cleaning and sanitizing the property. Check in 4:00 - Check out 9:00 am
You will receive a text the day of your arrival with the entry information for a remote Check in.
We will be following a new expanded cleaning protocol to sanitize all hard surfaces possible, high touch areas and soft surfaces (furniture, draperies, rugs).
We will provide cleaning products for you to sanitize to your comfort level during your stay.
We ask that guests bring their own beach towels. We will provide sheets, blankets, pillows and bath/kitchen towels. If you prefer to bring all of your own linens let me know in advance of your stay.
We will provide an initial supply of toilet paper and paper towels. You will need to bring additional amounts of these products depending on your specific needs.
I apologize in advance for any inconvenience this may cause but we are doing our best to be cautious and conscientious in our cleaning and sanitizing efforts. We want you all to be able to enjoy great family time in a safe and welcoming environment.
