The property has a lot of windows filled with views of the surrounding forest while also illuminating the rooms with natural sunlight.
This newly renovated property can accommodate 8 people with 4 bedrooms. There are 3 ensuite bathrooms and one bathroom that is accessible from either the 4th bedroom or the hallway. Every bedroom also includes a desk in case your getaway involves working-from-somewhere-else.
The living room, dining room, and kitchen are together in an open-concept design. This design offers a generous amount of space in the main area allowing for everyone to be together for meals, or ample space for just a few people sitting together in active conversations over a glass of wine.
There is enough room for everyone to do their own thing from streaming and surfing the net (the TV comes with Roku and guests are free to sign into their own streaming accounts), to playing games, reading books, or just drop the devices and play a friendly game of basketball in the backyard court. If you need some quiet relaxation, perhaps a few minutes in the full body, zero gravity massage chair will do the trick. If not, there's always the hot tub for those that enjoy an evening soak under the stars.
Our kitchen appliances ensure you have everything you need to prepare a quick snack or a full course meal. The kitchen has a large quartz island for preparation and added seating to keep the chef company.
It also includes an electric stove, fridge, microwave, plates, cutlery, cooking utensils, toaster, coffee maker, and tea steeper...for the chef. If you enjoy washing dishes, then ignore the dishwasher installed beside the sink. If you don't enjoy washing dishes; your welcome.
The backyard has been setup with additional seating areas, and equipped with a fixed line propane BBQ (the huge propane tank ensures you never run out of fuel), and a fire pit to roast marshmallows and watch the evening stars. As weather can be unpredictable, rest assured that your experience is well protected from surprises. In the event of a power outage, the backup generator will ensure your night can have light, your drinks can remain cold, and your devices can be charged! Come and build lasting memories with your friends and family!
Guests have access to all the rooms in the house other than our garage, storage room, and utility room which will be locked. The backyard swimming pool is also prohibited as it has been chemically winterized and closed with a safety cover. The areas mentioned above are the only areas in our property that will be locked to guests.
Please note the property uses a septic system for sewage which means only toilet paper can be flushed down the toilets. The property also uses well water as the primary source for water. The water is actively treated through UV light disinfection, water softeners, iron filters, and reverse osmosis (in the kitchen). The water is drinkable and tested regularly for safety but you are welcome to bring your own water bottles as well.
Please note we have surveillance cameras outside. Nothing inside the house. We do not spy on our guests, we use the cameras ONLY for security purposes.

We charge additional cleaning pets fees, but expect the cottage to be left clean and in good condition.
