Portsmouth, a quiet and respectful neighbourhood and Kingston's first 1950s suburb, is right in the middle of where you need to be in the Kingston area.
Walk to Prison museums, Queen's West Campus, Portsmouth Olympic Harbour, Corrections Canada, Providence Care, Lake Ontario Park, grocery stores, downtown, and St. Lawrence College. Some walks are longer, some are shorter.
Mid century charm in the building and décor. Some much loved vintage furniture pieces, and some new ones. Enjoy the private outdoor dining and gathering areas, including the pink gazebo.
At one end of the home are the bedrooms with a large dining, living, and kitchen at the other end. Your host occupies a downstairs suite with the cat.
Outdoors offers a large patio with a table for family al-fresco dining. The gazebo is a shady retreat from the hot sun with a ceiling fan, lights, an outlet and pretty good WiFi. You'll also find a vegetable garden, a strawberry patch, a raspberry patch, wildflowers, palm and fig trees. The backyard is being rewilded with some areas that are unmaintained. Stick to the paths provided, or make your own through the lush greenery!
