Waverly is a nice rural small-town in an area known for great fishing, water recreation, and winter sports. In addition to boating/fishing on local lakes, the city of Waverly has a large public beach just two miles from the house with a sand swimming beach, picnic pavillion, playgrounds, tennis courts and ball fields (donated by the Minnesota Twins). Approximately 10-20 minutes away are the cities of Buffalo and Delano, which are known for their unique shops, antiques, local restaurants and summer treats. Waverly is in the heart of farm country, with many surrounding farms and fields.
