MoonShadow is a unique country cottage that offers the perfect getaway from city life and minutes from top beaches including Sauble Beach. This beautiful property boast over 2 acres, with hardwood forest and grasslands behind for complete privacy. Sit on the wraparound deck and enjoy the tranquility of the private pond and the local wildlife. Entertain around the firepit or get lost in the stars while in the hot tub, hammocks or gravity chairs provided or play Indoors with the retro arcade.
The space
This cozy cottage is certainly unique with locally inspired wood carvings on the walls and doors giving you that cottage feeling mixed with all the modern amenities and conveniences; including AC, gas furnace, Wi-Fi, to name a few. There are 3 bedrooms and a pull out queen bed and 1 and a half baths. You can soak in the large claw foot tub or have a family night with a movie. There are many board games available and two electric fireplaces to warm up near.
There is plenty of parking space for multiple vehicles (including RVs).
The cottage is on a septic tank and drilled well with a water filtration and softener. There is an additional filter in the kitchen that has been tested and safe to drink and a water cooler also available.

Guest access
You will be provided with key code for the electronic door lock at the front door. There is also a backup key in a lockbox that will be available on request for emergency purposes.
Only guests included in the reservation are permitted on the property at any time. No visitors are allowed for any reason.
All guest have complete access to the property including the forest, hot tub, propane bbq, Bunkie.
Other things to note
Room 1 includes - 1 double bed. Large closet with safe. Sliding door out to backyard space.
Room 2 includes - 1 double bed and 1 bunk bed single over single size bed and Large closet.
Room 3 Loft includes - 1 queen size bed. Large closet. Overhead fan/light. Reading lights.
Please bring your own bed sheets, pillow cases and towels. There are pillows, blankets and comforters provided throughout the cottage.
There is a limit of one large garbage bag per week for pick up. You can put your garbage bag (Max 1 bag for whole week) in the blue garbage bin at front of cottage near street. Garbage is picked up every Tuesday. We ask all rents to please bring excess garbage home or drop off at local landfill down the street. There is recycling bins in the main closet that can be placed in front of cottage near street for Monday pickup. Again, please bring all remaining recycling home or drop it off at the local landfill.
We are a pet friendly cottage but we do ask all guest to be mindful of their pets and be careful regarding scratching/biting as there are elaborate wood carvings on some of the doors and walls. We do offer a large pet crate if you require it for nights or if leaving your pet at the cottage during the day.
