Escape city life and wake up in heaven! This gorgeous cottage is located in an inlet on prestigious Stoney Lake (world class fishing!!!). Great for families-and outdoor enthusiasts. Throw bread off the dock to the resident sunfish, or spend a week on the water chasing 50″ muskie, paddle to the rocks, and count the bass or cast the shore at night for walleye – it's all easy and fun.
Curl up with a glass of wine by the campfire or watch the sunset from a paddle boat. Lake can be weedy near shore but deep, clear water for swimming is a one minute canoe/paddle boat ride away.
Visit Lakefield’s charming shops and restaurants (Canoe and Paddle, Stuff’d, Cassis Bistro and Frederick’s), or venture further to Petroglyphs Provincial Park.

The Space
Guests have access to the entire property, set on 250 feet of beautiful lakefront. We are set an a peaceful inlet on Lower Stoney, and have a dock ready for 20 foot boats (inboard or outboard); if you are looking to water ski or fish you can rent a boat (info below) and explore the vastness of Stoney Lake for great adventures.
This wonderfully designed cottage features a Great Room with vaulted ceiling, floor to ceiling windows which let you bask in the sunsets and wildlife (deer, birds, chipmunk, fox) who visit.
The house has been decorated simply and with great care. We aim to please and know you will enjoy your stay in our wonderful cottage! Welcome to all areas of our property, including the wooded acre across from the cottage. Please treat it as a home away from home.
There are three bedrooms: one with a king bed; one with a queen bed; and another with four bunkbeds (twin). Gorgeous bathroom has heated floors and a glassed in rain shower.
Wake up and enjoy a coffee in the bright, clean kitchen. All bkitchen essentials provided (dishes, utensils, glassware, pots, pans etc.). Enjoy your breakfast on the kitchen patio or the extra large deck which frames the back of the house. Watch for the deer that walk through the property in the early mornings and evenings, and sometimes swim across to the island. They are spectacular.
