This one bedroom, open concept cabin has everything you need for a romantic night away with your loved one or a family getaway with the kids. The ideal spot for people who love glamping and the outdoors. With 30 acres to explore, your own private back lake, old logging rock walls and a trail around the property. The back lake is perfect for fishing and canoeing. Bring along your ATV or snowmobile since we are directly next to the E101 trail. Henrys Cabin is a cozy 320sqft off grid cottage with all of the necessities required for vacation. The kitchen is stocked with all of the essential dishes and cooking tools required. There is a butane one burner cook top, a kettle, a french press, keurig, a mini fridge and a BBQ. A duvet, pillows and throw blankets are provided (NOT sheets). Enjoy the evening by the outdoor fire pit that overlooks the river and you will see hundreds and hundreds of stars on a clear night. There is a canoe with 2 paddles at the back lake if you'd like to explore there. The main heat source is a wood stove so you will have to know the basics on how to operate it. The washroom is an outhouse about 10 steps away from the cabin. Wood for the stove is provided . If you’d like to purchase wood for the outdoor fire pit we sell it for $10 / bag. My father in law does live on the property, he is there if you need anything urgently but you most likely will not see him. You will drive past his house and down a long driveway towards the cabin. He does have a VERY friendly dog named Buddy who minds his own business and wants nothing but affection.
