Summary: This hotel is a passable alternative, but nothing special. Primarilly, we had issues with the overall cleanliness of our rooms (carpet stank). Front desk staff were competent and check-in was smooth, but don't expect to feel very welcomed after the experience is over. The truck stop, located a about a block away, guarantees you'll be negotiating your way through big rigs in traffic as well as listening to their loud diesel engines a great deal of the time. The charming little town of Luling us about is a few miles from the hotel. Not a bad stay, but nothing memorable.
