Secluded, oceanfront cottage on Cobscook Bay with spectacular views on ten wooded acres. Large skipping stone beach, ideal for ocean kayaking. Abundant animal wildlife, huge Bay of Fundy influenced tides (20 plus feet), great stone fireplace, and large kitchen woodstove. Third bedroom is loft with three double beds and a double futon. Outdoor porch, great for relaxing and viewing nature at its best. (We often see bald eagles and seals). Public boat access ramp within one-quarter mile of the cottage.
We often alternate between relaxing days at the cottage and easy day trips to Eastport, Maine (the easternmost City in the United States), Saint Andrews, Canada (a beautiful coastal town reminiscent of Bar Harbor, Maine 40 years ago, with an excellent Golf Course - St Andrews by the Sea) and Campobello Island, Canada (see link below) - summer home of Franklin Roosevelt, great beaches and bike trails, excellent Golf course - Herring Cove.
