Positive: The location can't be beat. Pretty much everything you need is in walking distance: The lake, the amusement park, the shops, the museums, etc all within 10 minutes or less. There's enough room for maybe 3 vehicles if you need the extra parking as well, and the free, public parking is just up the corner. You get a full kitchen, albeit a small one. The fridge is a decent size, and there's plenty of dishes to cook and eat with. There's a small coffee pot and toaster as well. The main bedroom is a decent size, and the bed isn't half bad (just watch the step getting in). The second bedroom is more of a walk-in closet with a trundle bed, but it works great for the kids, with just enough room for them to hang out and have some privacy. There's also 2 AC units, one in the main part of the cabin, and one in the master bedroom, so you'll stay nice and cool. And if you have gadgets to charge, the owners have LOTS of plugins for you to use.

Negative: The cabin itself is somewhat of a funhouse with low doors and uneven floors (I would argue that crooked floors are to be expected in a cottage like this, but these are REALLY crooked). I'm 6'2" and hit my head on the master bedroom doorway at least 4 times, mostly due to the fact there is a big step right in the door frame. Between the low doors and the uneven floors, walking to the bathroom in the dark was always an adventure. Speaking of the bathroom, the shower is TERRIBLE for anyone who's bigger. If you have any extra weight, you won't have much room to move as it's maybe 30x30" inside. If you are taller, you won't be able to fit under the main shower head at all. (thankfully they have a detachable handheld showerhead that mounts a bit higher). While it has a full kitchen, there is no real counter space to do any food preparation on. Probably not a big deal if you are just sticking with simple foods or enjoying the local restaurants for your meals. We had enough room to whip up bacon and eggs just fine.

Summary: A very cozy cottage, in an excellent location. Maybe not ideal for larger humans.
