The space
Welcome to your REMOTE lake getaway! This property is on the highly sought after Gull Lake. Although it is a quick 20 minute drive to EVERYTHING that you would want to do in the very exciting Brainered area, it feels like a cabin in the woods. It sits on a secluded private road next to a beautiful state park. The cabin itself is on a 3 acre lot with 200+ feet of shore line! It sits on a 30+ foot bluff which offers breathtaking sunrise views. Best view on the entire lake! Once inside, this cabin is the definition of cozy. The grand room is very inviting, offering high ceilings and A LOT of natural light from all sides. Walk through the sliding glass door onto the wrap around deck where you can sip your morning coffee in total peace. Or enjoy the "up north" feel of the screened in gazebo, perfect for evening games and fun. The downstairs guest rooms offer a surprising amount of comfortable sleeping space. The bed frames are locally sourced and custom made, and the mattresses are all brand new. The master room has a queen bed, as does the second bedroom. Both have walk out sliding glass doors which overlook the lake. The small, 3rd room is lovingly referred to as "the bunker." It has a 4 twin mattress, bunk bed built in. It isn't much use for anything except sleeping... but that is all you would want to use it for anyway! This home also has two rustic, full bathrooms. The dock has a LARGE sunbathing deck, and a fishing platform from which you can cast into one of the best walleye areas on the entire lake. Feel free to tie up your boat to the dock during your stay, but keep in mind that the main body of the lake can get choppy at times, so bring good lines and good bumpers. After the sun goes down, feel free to use the custom built fire pit for smores and storytelling! This cabin has it all! You will not find a better place for a peaceful family getaway anywhere in the Brainerd lakes area! We again highly recommend 4 wheel drive.
