Moonshine Chalet is a 4-season, custom-built Linwood chalet, nestled in 14 private wooded acres. Views of the surrounding forest can be seen from all rooms in the chalet.
Located in gorgeous Calabogie, Ontario, it is a:
- 2 minute drive to Calabogie Highlands Golf Club
- 5 minute drive to Calabogie Motorsports Park
- 15 minute drive to Calabogie Peaks Ski Hill

THE CHALET
Moonshine Chalet has a warm and cozy ambiance for all guests, making it a perfect space for families and group gatherings.
Entering through the front foyer, you will be walking into the large great room with vaulted ceilings and views of the surrounding forest. The floor-to-ceiling stone, indoor wood burning fireplace sets the tone for a relaxing evening indoors. The large 70" TV offers Netflix, Disney+ and watch all your live-action sports on Sportsnet or TSN. Also available is a blu-ray player to enjoy some classic movies, which are provided.
Free high-speed wifi is provided for all guests.
To the right is a large chef's kitchen with vaulted ceilings, perfect for entertaining, with a stunning gas stove, large island and dining area. Complimentary coffee and tea is provided to start your morning right.
Passing through to the 3-season sunroom with vaulted ceilings, you will find games for all ages in a cozy lounge, surrounded by large windows with views to the woods. Enjoy a game of Monopoly, Jenga, Battleship or Code Names! We have also included crafts for smaller children. Children of all ages will love this private space, where they can lounge, hang out and create memories!
The main level also offers a large bathroom with Jacuzzi tub, a full laundry room and a spacious bedroom with 2 single beds.
Up the staircase is the private upper master loft, complete with a live-edge king bed, walk-in closet, full ensuite with heated floors, and your own private rooftop terrace with 2 muskoka chairs and coffee (or wine) table. Surrounded by gorgeous woods from all angles, you may never want to leave the loft.
The lower level offers a large, open-concept entertaining space with radiant in-floor heating. The living area includes a large TV, PS3 with plenty of games, and floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking the patio and woods.
Adjacent to this space is the office space, with high-speed internet provided for when duty calls.
The full wet bar offers plenty of seating and space for games, drinks and snacks, when you want to unwind. There is a dart board for you and a walk-out to the oversized patio, outdoor dining and access to the propane barbecue.
Take a stroll down the trail to the firepit, positioned under the clear sky, perfect for stargazers and UFO chasers. Live-edge benches are set up next to the fire, and firewood is available at the wood shed. All you need to bring are your marshmallows!
In the winter, you can also enjoy a toboggan hill next to the patio, with toboggans provided at the chalet.
The lower level also offers a full ensuite with shower, and a large bedroom with queen bed, closet and walk-out to the patio.
The heated, double-car garage with direct access to the house is also available for you to keep your on and off-road vehicles out of the weather.
We are 1 minute away from the K&P trail, which you can access right from the front door from your ATV or snowmobile! The K&P trail runs 55kms long, and you can access dedicated ATV/snowmobile trails right from K&P.
