The home is located within walking distance of the Vermilion Community College and the Ely Schools, too. This sweet retreat is fully licensed, sits in the heart of Ely and offers three bedrooms and a bath with sleeping availability for up to 6 people. Built in 1999, all bedding and home furnishings are new. Décor is Northwoods....a perfect place to relax....and when you are ready to venture out, the Retreat is conveniently located to most anywhere you'd like to go. This home literally has no stairs on the property...easy accessibility in & out! This is a rare find with three bedrooms, incredible beds and bath with an oversized shower. The home is fully licensed with the State of MN Health Department and City of Ely.
The kitchen provides an island with bar stools and is well stocked with everything you could possibly need and more. The living area provides a free standing gas fireplace - just a great place to kick back and relax. You'll find a variety of games, DVDs plus each bedroom has its' own smart TV for use with your Neflix/Amazon accounts.
What makes the bedrooms so inviting? Top of the line furniture, mattresses and bedding have been carefully chosen for your comfort with luxury bed linens from the Hilton Hotel Collection. Comforters and pillows are down alternative. All of the bedrooms provide a flat screen smart TV. All bedrooms have ceiling fans plus additional table top fans, if needed. There is air conditioning - rarely needed up north - but for those days that it is, the cabin has it.
Other amenities include heated floors, pleated and wood blinds on all of the windows, high speed internet, WIFI, cable TV, top of the line bedding and linens plus a fenced in yard for privacy. The exterior of the home consists of an outdoor deck with gas grill. There is not access to the washer & dryer. There are two local laundromats, if needed, not far away on Sheridan Street.
Home to the Boundary Waters Canoe Area Wilderness, Ely provides four seasons of adventure....dozens of area trails, gorgeous lakes, unique shopping, galleries, outfitters, golfing, dog sledding, bird watching, cross country skiing, snowmobiling, unique Northwoods eateries, coffee shops and fine dining.
