Located 17 miles north of Ely Minnesota on the infamous Echo Trail. This two-bedroom lakefront log cabin has a history of its own. Big Lake is a remote wilderness lake with fishing, hunting and sunsets galore. A sandy beach is located within a short walk to the lake. This area has been designated as a DARK SKY AREA and QUIET SPACE
The great room features a vaulted ceiling, Northwood’s style log furniture, flat screen television with ROKU and a complete kitchen. This cabin has a full bath with a tub and shower. Each of the two bedrooms have a king bed. There is extra sleeping in the living area with a full-size futon. A small boat dock, sun deck with Adirondack chairs, picnic table, charcoal grill and campfire ring are all provided at your cabin. This cabin is rated for 4 guest sleeps up to 6. A wood fired Sauna is within walking distance from the cabin.
An Aluminum Canoe/paddles and Life Jackets Available are included for use. For BWCA trips a Kevlar canoe can be rented as well.
