This stunning property offers no visible neighbors, a trout stream in the back yard, and a hot tub to enjoy sunsets and panoramic views of the great Northwoods, but still only 20 minutes from the Duluth area. This home was newly built in the past few years and offers all the amenities that a family or two needs to relax. Nestled in the pines on over 100 acers, there are plenty of year-round activities to keep you here for your entire stay. Catch brook trout in the back yard, take a walk on the trails, or simply unwind in the hot tub while you watch the landscapes and wildlife of northern Minnesota. For families with children there is a large swing set and playground right in the backyard, a library in the kids loft, a stocked toy box, and a tent in their own space to add some whimsy to their stay.
Our home offers 5 bedrooms, with 6 separate beds (1 King, 3 queens, 2 twins), which very comfortably sleeps 6-10 people. There is something for everyone here and plenty of space for single or multiple families, with a large kitchen and two sperate living rooms. The lower-level living room and bar area has enough seating for everyone and feature a full-size air hockey table. The sliding glass door opens up to the rear patio where the hot tub is located.
On the main level you can get cozy with a fire in the free-standing wood stove, or grill up and serve dinner on the large, attached deck which walks out directly off the dining room and kitchen. Both decks on the home overlook the trout stream.
The master suite features include a private balcony, private bathroom with custom shower, dresser and walk in closet. The main level is meant to feel like a rustic but modern cottage blending reclaimed wood railings and furniture with modern amenities. While the lower level of the house is meant to feel like a northern Minnesota lodge with log furniture and rustic blue pine finishes.
Both family rooms are equipped with big screen TV's and Satellite television, with WiFi included in your stay throughout the whole house.
All 5 bedrooms feature blackout blinds and cozy bedding for those mornings that call for sleeping in.
The attached garage has and indoor and outdoor kennel where we do allow 1-2 well behaved dogs for your stay. Please contact us prior to booking for pet approval.
For horse owners who are looking for a place to stay and bring your own equestrian friends, we do have horse pastures adjacent to our home. If you chose this option with your stay we have a round pen, pasture shelter, water/electricity at the pasture, and miles of nearby riding trials.
