Keewatin is THE most boat friendly place in Kenora! There are several boat launches very close to this home. There is a beach situated nearby (10 mins walk), as well as, two very good local restaurants (901 Westside on Ottawa Street and Timber Garden Chinese Restaurant on Hwy 17), also all within a 10 mins walk! Timber Garden has arguably the best Chinese food in Kenora & is take out only and we recommend booking reservations for 901 Westside - if dining in. They also do phone-in pick up and the food is delicious. Both restaurants have online menus. This home is also minutes away from the Keewatin Recreation Centre. There is a great little grocery store called Keewatin Place on Hwy 17 (two doors down from Timber Garden) Chinese) for all your provisional needs. Try their ‘little boy’ sandwiches for a quick lunch on the go, or grab a ready made roasted chicken for dinner. Truly a gem of a grocer.
