The location of our place is so nicely set that it will give you the impression of being at a unique and tranquil cottage up north, even though it's a 10 minute ferry ride away from the city centre. It's the ideal place for an individual or a couple to enjoy their time in a cozy and creative ambience. Here, you'll feel the connection with nature in a greater way.
The space
This private upper unit has a kitchen, living room with sleeping arrangements, and a large balcony. On this floor you can also find the washroom and shower with all the bathroom essentials. The twin bed is in the living area as seen in the photos. We may be adding another twin bed to the space to accomodate a second person. It's more of a 'glamping' space, so visitors are welcome to bring their own sleeping bags, mattresses and all that if they like. It's also more suitable for shorter stays, a few nights a week here and there during the summer months. For more photos take a look @torontoislandhouse
Guest access
Guests have access to the top unit of the house. It's a private unit with a separate entrance along the side of the house.
We offer all the cooking basics. Appliances like the fridge, microwave, toaster, blender, water kettle, french press etc. are available. Moreover, in this floor there is a washroom and shower.
An added attraction to the room is the spacious balcony. On the balcony, there are proper sitting arrangements for you to relax and enjoy your coffee or read a book.

Other things to note
Enjoy island life with breathtaking city views and beaches nearby. For picnics, trails or even a casual walk, you can visit a good number of parks in the area.
There is a new ceiling fan in the unit that circulates the air wonderfully during the summer months and provides a great overhead light throughout the year. There is no TV as we like to keep the connection to nature vibrant.
We have made all arrangements in our Airbnb to make your trip worthwhile, comfortable, and enjoyable. Feel free to get in touch with us if you have any questions.
PLEASE NOTE: There are no grocery or convenience stores on the Islands. Visitors are recommended to bring the following essentials:

- Bathing suit / Beach towel (Beach Ponchos available for purchase)

ISLAND LIFE:
Visitors must be respectful of the Island vibe, the community culture, and natural environment. Please keep the space quiet. Any large gatherings can take place at one of the parks or beaches on the islands.
THE GROUNDS:
There are many beautiful walking and biking paths on the islands along with places to rent paddle boards.
DINING:
Restaurants, cafes and bars in the area offer full meals and drinks throughout the season.
