Enjoy a relaxing and quiet getaway at our well maintained year round cabin. It’s located on quiet McCarry Lake and has access to Iron River, WI snowmobile and ATV trails. It's a great four-season getaway!
Your cabin will include a fully equipped kitchen (with dishes, cooking utensils, coffee maker, toaster, microwave, regular stove/oven and refrigerator/freezer); livingroom has couch and 2 chairs. Two bedrooms with all bedding, a full bathroom with sink, toilet, tub and shower. (bring your own towels for bath and beach) and for winter there is a forced air furnace to keep you warm and cozy! An outdoor fire pit, Wi-Fi, TV and DVD player are all provided to enjoy your downtime. It has everything needed for a relaxing week or weekend getaway!
McCarry Lake is a 32 acre lake surrounded by Northwest Wisconsin's Chequamegon National Forest. It is a great fishing lake which include Musky, Panfish, Largemouth Bass, Smallmouth Bass, Northern Pike and Walleye. Two kayaks and one paddleboad await you on shore. Guests also have access to hiking, biking, ATV and snowmobile trails. Cross country skiing trails are nearby in the heart of the Chequamegon National Forest. You can also launch your boat at the Twin Bear Campground less than 2 miles away where you can access 7 other lakes. This is the perfect place to come ride, paddle, fish or kick back and relax surrounded by the outdoors.
One bedroom with bunkbeds (queen bed on lower and twin on top) and second bedroom with full bed. Extra sleeping area in the back room includes another full bed.
The cabin is about 3 and 1/2 hours from Minneapolis/St. Paul area, 1 hour east of Duluth, 35-40 minutes North of Hayward, 30-35 minutes south of Bayfield and 25 minutes west of Ashland.
Small boat, canoe or kayak access to Hart Lake and the Pike Lake Chain through the channel. Excellent fishing and lots of wildlife on this clear water lake. Near Buskey Bay Resort (Supper Club); Pine Point Lodge (bar); also close to several dining options in Iron River (Pizza Parlor, A&W, Subway, Rustic Roost, 300 Grill, The Other Place Bar & Grill and The Delta Diner).
