Welcome to Little Cake Island on Sharbot Lake. A private island accessible only by boat. A rustic lakefront cabin with stunning views that you enjoy while relaxing in authentic Adirondack chairs.
2 Bedrooms (1 Queen Bed & 1 Double Bed)
2 Futons in the living room.
Hydro connected to island by submarine cable.
Kitchen has a sink with running water (from the lake) for dishes and a small refrigerator with freezer to keep food cold.
Cast iron cookware and basic dishware included.
Propane BBQ and 2 burner camp stove are located on the front deck for cooking.
Secluded fire pit.
Composting toilet in separate structure. (not a flushing toilet)
Short distance (750m) across the lake to Sharbot Lake Provincial Park or (2.2km) to all the amenities in town. Mike Dean's Grocery Store is a short walk along the K&P trail from the Government Dock.
Unfortunately, there is no hot water, no shower, and no oven.
The island is furnished with 2 kayaks and a rowboat that you are free to enjoy. No power boat will be provided but there is a sturdy dock and good water depth if you are bringing your own. Sharbot Lake Marina (www.slmarina.ca) is accessible by road and rents watercraft.
Owner is available to drop guests off at the island and provide an orientation on arrival if desired. Sorry but this property does not accommodate pets, please do not book to discuss, your time is valuable.
