Thank for your interest in our little piece of heaven.
"cabin dot calm" is located in the Town of Kagawong, which has been voted Ontario's "prettiest town" and is home to the famous Bridal Vial Falls. The cabin is OFF-GRID and sits on 10 acres of land.
With being off-grid there is limited hydro which is harvested through solar panels. The water supply is collected through rain water barrels (not always full) and is not for drinking. It is advised to bring drinking water or you can fill the three water bottles in the cabin from the water dispenser in town. (water is normally restocked by previous renters if they use it). Bathroom facilities include an outdoor port-a-potti and there is an outdoor shower.
A short walk down the street and you come to the entrance of the area's private sandy beach, on Lake Huron's North Channel.
The cabin itself sleeps 4, The Bunkie sleeps an additional 2-3 with a futon and couch. You will need to bring your own linens, towels and water.
If you rent in the later end of the season there is a propane heater for temperature control.
Our Cabin is pet friendly and is smoke free.
