A 5 bedroom, 3 bathroom year round accessible chalet located on the Bruce Trail. Nearby attractions include many of Georgian Bay's beautiful beaches, plenty of waterfalls, Blue Mountain and all its amenities (20 minutes to our east), the Walters Falls Inn, Tobermory and Bruce National Park, and so much more. The chalet includes a large eat-in kitchen, a bar area downstairs, a large soaker tub in the master bath, a beautiful wood burning fire place for those cozy winter nights, and a comfortable sun porch. There is also a games room including a pool table, fooseball and shuffleboard table, hundreds of movies, and tons of games to choose from, and an exercise area with weights and a club quality aerobic equipment including elliptical, treadmill, and recumbent bike.. Awesome outdoor fire pit as well.
Right outside the back door is the entrance to the Bruce Trail. Choose either pathway and stumble upon some of nature's greatest gifts. With 20 acres of land, this chalet boasts all that is needed for a wonderful, much deserved getaway. If you are into geocaching (www.geocaching.com) we have one on the trail that is a delight for kids.
A short drive away are some spectacular water falls in Eugenia (15 minutes), Owen Sound (20 minutes) or a great beach for kids, Christie Beach (15 minutes) or one of Ontario's biggest beaches, Sauble Beach (40 minutes).
Everything you need to enjoy a relaxing vacation is provided. A well stocked kitchen, towels and linens are provided. In the warmer months, we have a BBQ as well. Just bring the food you need for the weekend and you are all set!
Please note that the chalet does not have air conditioning for the summer months, however, we have spent many hot August July and August nights there and the temperature cools nicely and the sleeping conditions are excellent. Absolutely no smoking in the chalet. Well trained dogs are welcome.
