Welcome to Barge Bay, a casual place where family and friends can enjoy beach walking, swimming, kayaking, reading, sunning or sharing a meal and a glass of wine.Located on the “North” end of Madeline Island about a 20-minute drive from the Ferry Dock in downtown La Pointe, Barge Bay is named after the sunken dredge “Finn McCool” lying on the lake bed in front of the cottage shore.The property features 400 feet of sand beach along with a fire pit to enjoy the quiet evenings.
Barge Bay is literally 75 feet from the shores of Lake Superior and the cabin features 2 bedrooms, a full bath along with an open floor plan from the kitchen to the living room which overlooks and connects to a large lake side deck.This is a place to leave your computer and to do list miles away.
