Summary: SUPER UNDER STAFFED!!
When I first booked this room, in FEBRUARY, I put in the comments I was requesting early check-in.
Two days before my stay, I called to reconfirm this. The man who answered the phone was very hard to understand. Had to repeat myself several times. His answer to my question, "I will be able to check in at 1:00pm, correct?", was YES.
Get to the hotel, nobody at the desk. Nobody to be found period. Nobody answered the phone at the desk with the note to call and someone will help you.
The hotel was booked with people all going to the same wedding. When the guy finally showed up at the desk at 2pm (he had been at lunch for about two hours), the lobby was FULL of people trying to check-in.
Ended up changing clothes in the bathroom down the hall.
Finally get into my room with about 20 minutes before having to leave for the wedding. Nice big holes in the wall about the bed where apparently a large picture had been hanging.
When I went to check-out the next morning, again NOBODY AT THE DESK. People had left notes saying they were checking out of their rooms. I did the same.
I get this was a VERY small town, but you need people at the desk at critical service times. And maybe, you need to delay taking your lunch when you know A LOT OF PEOPLE ARE GOING TO BE CHECKING IN.
About the only nice thing I can say about this hotel is, at least they had my reservation.....I hope to never again stay here again.

Summary: When we checked in, we were put on the second floor and my wife has a problem climbing stairs. The spa was not working in the pool area. They did not have any pool towels , so I had to go to the front desk to get the towels. We missed have fruit and yogurt for breakfast. We had to buy a bar of soap as the one furnished broke apart. The bed was comfortable.

Summary: Pictures were inaccurate, not current on website. This hotel is a little run down. Air conditioner did not work in one room and owners did move us to a different room so that was nice. Breakfast had waffles and the coffee was good. Hot tub was not working. We did not use the swimming pool but it was open. We stayed for 2 nights and this hotel did make up the beds and clean room after the first day. All in all rooms were clean and price of hotel was good.

Summary: The hotel doesn't have an elevator. I was just released to start walking after breaking my leg. We arrived (prepaid) to find that I would have take the stairs because they didn't have any rooms on the 1st floor. Never thought I had to make sure a hotel, charging $200 a night, had an elevator. What if someone elderly or walker booked and now had nowhere to stay. The heat in the whole hotel, was uncomfortably hot. It was July, lobby had ceiling fans turned off, hallway only had 1 of 3 air conditioners on. Room was clearly

Summary: Was an average hotel, with a sub-par overall experience:
Upon check-in (and needing anything) the staff is almost never attending the front desk; You’ll need to dial a number on a phone sitting on the counter - even if they’re sitting 10 feet away, watching TV in the back room. And when they come to assist, it feels like you (their guest) is a big inconvenience.
I had this experience at check-in, also when we needed new sheets. We had to ask for new sheets, because sheets on one of the beds appeared to be stained from a previous guest. Then what I was given, was another pile of crumpled sheets - I had no confidence the new sheets were washed, as they made no attempt to even have them folded.
The breakfast was also a sub-par experience, one or two selections of cold cereal, and milk and OJ in pitchers, which looked rather old.

Summary: Language barrier. Breakfast there wasn't much for options. The syrup must have been old, was VERY tacky like glue. Juices sat out on the counter and were WARM! Sheets were dirty so we slept on top of the bedding. Bathroom was dirty, mold in the shower area, mirrors were all dirty, towels stunk and the whole room stunk bad. The room was very dusty as if it hadn't been cleaned for a long time. Noone was ever at the front desk. Hot tub was not working. In the pool area, there wasnt extra towels only 3 towels out. Ants all over inside the pool area floor. Pricey for one night stay.
