Tranquility awaits you at Eden Lodge - a private, gated, four season property located only two miles south of Big Detroit Lake. Take pleasure in the endless wooded views while enjoying all the luxuries our home has to offer!
LOCATION
We are only a 7 mile drive to DL beach and 4 miles from the nearest public access ramp (on Big Detroit). We have ample parking space for your cars and boat/snowmobile trailers!
In the winter, snowmobilers have direct access right outside the entrance of our property to Trail 272 - a groomed trail with stunning views!
For those who love to ATV, we are also at the head of the Hairy Man/Vergas Trail system!
THE PROPERTY
Our property in its entirety equals 77 acres - 7 of which is usable for our guests*.
While outside, curl up with a book beneath the pergola, roast some s’mores or weenies beside one of three fire pits (2 gas, 1 wood with wood provided!) or enjoy a hot beverage on the wrap around porch on a breezy morning. Because you’re out in the country, you’re sure to get a fantastic view of the stars at night!
We also have various yard games for you to play (corn hole, frisbee golf, croquet, badminton, etc.) and frequent wildlife visitors (deer, turkey, fox, coyote, etc.).
*So as to not disturb the wildlife, we ask that you please refrain from entering the woods or any other areas marked ‘off limits’ on the material provided to you at booking.
THE HOUSE
Our expansive, open living area still lets you soak in all of the nature with our high, vaulted ceilings and large windows. Nearly 98% of all the inside wood trim, walls and ceiling on our main floor and loft were harvested out of our property’s forest - basswood, walnut, maple and oak!
Our home comes fully furnished and equipped to serve your every need with all NEW kitchen appliances and high end furnishings. Wireless internet is also provided.
Cozy up by one of the fireplaces upstairs, downstairs, or beside the soaker tub on the main level (a day at the spa just doesn’t compare). Feeling competitive? Have yourselves a foosball tournament or play one of the board games provided! And of course, there’s always plenty to watch on our 75” Smart TV’s in the two family rooms - Netflix and Disney+ are provided for you to stream!
When it’s time to rest your head, there are 4 bedrooms to choose from, all with new, gel memory foam mattresses. The loft has three twin beds, perfect for little ones! (Or perhaps three bears?)
The main level bedroom comes situated with a king bed and a 50” Smart TV, for those who like to continue their streaming as they doze off.
In the basement, you’ll find another large room with a king bed, and our bunk room with 3 twin bunks and a full size bunk.
Rest assured knowing all linens are washed prior to your stay and the lodge is professionally cleaned and sanitized according to Air BnB Covid 5 Step cleaning guidelines.
Lastly, with contact free check-in and keyless entry, know that you won’t be bothered*, but we’re only a text or phone call away if you need us! We hope you enjoy your time at Eden Lodge and can’t wait to hear all about it!
*Owner may use the onsite workshop from time to time, but will make sure to park out of the way and stay far from the house.
