Welcome to 220 Queen Street West located in Elmvale, ON Canada. We are a 4 bedroom country home on a 5 acre working farm. The village of Elmvale is located in between 2 amazing soft water lakes, and lots of beaches to visit during the summer. Wasaga beach, the worlds longest soft water beach is only 10mins drive and Lake Simcoe is a 20min drive. We are also surrounded by smaller lakes which are great for fishing. Explore our hiking trails by foot or bike. There are over 110Km of Trans Canada Trail open for use in Simcoe County plus trails in abandoned rail lines and our forests. In the winter you can hit the trails cross country skiing, snowshoeing and dog sledding.
We are also located on the Ontario ATV trails and the Ontario Snowmobile trails. Bring your machines, there is room here.
For all you Hunters, hunting is permitted, you will find the list of properties on the forestry website for our OFAH members.
If a day at the spa is what you are looking for, we recommend trying the Scandinavian spa in Collingwood, it is around a 25mins drive but worth it. After the spa, go to the famous Blue Mountain Village located 2mins from the Scandinavian spa. This is especially beautiful if you enjoy the Christmas time. They transform into Santa's village. In the summer you can enjoy a bit to eat with a drink and listen to live music.
Casino Rama is 30mins drive and always have great shows. The City of Barrie is a 20mins drive and events happening pretty much every weekend, like their Ribfest in July and Jazz festival.
Once you come back for all this out door fun during the summer, relax on the patio in the shade with a book or just take a quick snooze. For dinner, use the BBQ and get some grilling going, have your dinner out side and get your fire going for S'mores to end your day. In the winters, do some relaxing in either of the living rooms, then get some grilling done, and have a nice dinner at the dinner table following by an evening in the games room, playing some Pin Pong, Darts or board games.
